The Programming subteam writes two programs that work together to enable the success in competition. One allows the robot to operate by itself during the autonomous period and another one allows it to respond to the driver's controls in the teleoperated period.
This year, the Programming subteam is using LabVIEW. LabVIEW uses a language G, which stands for graphical. LabVIEW makes the programming process much more streamlined because it eliminates the need to physically type out long, complicated code. LabVIEW's graphical nature also enables non-programmers to make a program for embedded system/FPGA without much prior knowledge with programming.

The members of the Programming subteam are Ryan Levy, Kathleen Lockhart, Charlie Rysenga, and Matthaeus Saavedra. If you have any questions about the Programming subteam or programming in LabVIEW, please contact the Programming subteam leader, Ryan Levy, at dqmot17@gmail.com.
