Older Competitions
2003 - Stack Attack
During the 2003 competition called Stack Attack, teams in alliances of two attempt to stack square containers in scoring zones on opposite ends of the playing field. The field is divided by a ramp with a flat top, which holds a majority of the game's containers. Points are scored by creating stacks of containers or by placing containers into their scoring zones. Bonus points are earned by placing the containers into stacks and by driving to the top of the center ramp at the end of the match.

The red alliance scored bonus points for having goals in zone 2 and for ending the match with robots in zone 5.

Extra points are scored by capping off the goals with large balls. This game is a wonderful example of how FIRST brings people together to work as a team to acheive a common goal.
