Fundraisers

Fundraising is one of the most important things to team 247. Every year, the team has a Halloween bowling fundraiser that has been an important part of the team for over eight years. The team has also had overnight Lazer Quest, which not only brought in funds, but included team building activities. Tag days are also successful, not only in fundraising, but in making our communities aware of our team and FIRST. Bottle drives have also been used, our most successful being in 2011.

Starting in 2011, the team has started selling tupperware. In 2010, the team started a lottery, which is also very successful. Also in 2011, the team had a team-building overnight in our build room, which was successful in raising money and in bringing the team closer together.
