FIRST Lego League

Team 247, with the help of parents and teachers, created and mentored FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams for the first time in 2010 . Beginning with two teams at the local Berkley middle school, they became known as "Da Vikings 1" and "Da Vikings 2". Though their names match they have grown into highly independent teams, holding their own fundraisers and pizza sales.

With the help of the student mentors, yet another FLL team in the area at Norup International School, was formed. In their first season, their team established themselves as, "Da Hawks".

In the upcoming seasons, the teams hope to grow and prosper with Da Bears at their side.
