Team 247 Da Bears is a FIRST Robotics team based in Berkley, Michigan. Our team is comprised of students from Berkley High School, Hazel Park High School and Shrine Catholic High School. These students also have the opportunity to work with our amazing and dedicated mentors.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), is an organization founded by Dean Kamen to further the involvement of math and science in our society. Team 247 has been involved with FIRST since 1999. In 2009, our most successful year to date, we received a District Chairman's Award at Traverse City, Michigan and placed second in the FIRST World Championship in Atlanta, Georgia.
